First sign of autumn?

Found this on a hike almost two weeks ago. It was a hot summer day, but I believe that because of all the dry, hot weather we’ve been having we might see some signs of autumn a bit earlier than usual. I always look forward to autumn, but I like that we still have some warm and lovely days ahead of us. πŸ™‚

      1. i love the changing of the seasons. I prefer four distinct seasons, but I feel like nothing is quite normal anymore. But I must say this summer has been fantastic! Still I look forward to the autumn colours. πŸ™‚

    1. I blame all this strange weather on climate change. I’ll go for warm summers anyday, but I would like the changing of the seasons to stay the same. We hardly had any snow last winter, which is very strange.

    1. see, nothing is normal about the weather anymore. Although most people like warm and dry weather these climate changes are definitely a bit scary.

    1. oh, that’s still too hot for me. A month of more than 30Β°C in the entire country has never happened before in Norway, so it’s been an exceptional summer.

    1. Not really. Although today was pretty cold, it still feels like summer (although late summer) and the autumn colors are still a few weeks away. πŸ˜‰ But I guess with the dry winter we’ve had some plants in the woods and some trees that haven’t looked its best this summer, and with the dry summer I think some autumn signs will come early.

      1. In the northern part of France, we almost did not have summer this year … a lot of clouds, rain and fresh temperatures and sometimes a little bit of sun … (but since I was working, I have to admit that it was not too bad for me πŸ˜‰ ) …

  1. I hope it’s not autumn quite yet, although I keep seeing little signs of it too! I’m going to stay in denial and hope we have a little but of sunshine to come! Such pretty colours in that photo πŸ™‚

    1. I hope it’s not autumn yet either, although the weather the last couple of days is a sign of changing seasons. thank you for liking πŸ™‚
