Down by the fjord

This weekend we took a trip to the east side of the city down by the fjord, along the Lade path. Spring comes earlier there than up above the city where we live. It was such a beautiful day with fabulous sunshine and nice temperature (for Norway this time of year). Here are a few shots from our trip. More to come, I’m sure. πŸ™‚

  1. So pristine and beautiful, and I can see it’s a glorious day but my dear, other than the absence of snow, I can’t see the signs of spring! I’ve magnified the tree (what a gorgeous shot) as far as I can and can’t see a glimmer of green – or am I looking at the wrong picture – is it the ducks? I can imagine how lovely it was to take a walk along this shore – just fantastic. πŸ™‚

    1. Thank you. For your information it is still very early spring in this parts of the world, and this part of the country. Absence of snow is important for us northerners, and there are some small green leaves and buds around in the part where these photos are taken. I will share some other shots later. It is also tends to be warmer down by the fjord (exept that is often a bit more windy). The ducks are a good sign too. πŸ™‚
