124/366 Purple spring flowers

From the flower bed outside our apartment building. Love these small purple flowers. Of course I don’t know their name, but still… It is extremely cold outside, by the way. We’ve had some real wonderful spring days, but quite few of them. The weather forecast is not promising either. I’m so looking forward to summer, especially going on our Europe trip in the beginning of June. I’m sure the weather will be fantastic then 🙂

    1. I like the transition months too, and I love all season. But when we had less than 10 degrees Celsius all of April and the forecast says it will not get any warmer, then I’m longing for a bit better weather. 🙂

  1. These are primula flowers. Primroses are traditionally a pale yellow but they have adapted them so much now that there are so many varieties. I love the strong compact bunches of leaves contrasting with the flimsy, thin stems of the flowers and the delicate petals. They look like the cold would kill them off but they are very hardy little plants.
    Lovely shot.

    1. Thanks, Kate. I’m so glad everyone is so keen to help me out with the flowers I’m posting 🙂 And thanks for liking it 🙂
