I was going to throw this flower out since it’s beyond rescue (I’m not really good with plants… ) but figured I could try to photograph it for a bokeh shot when I saw the lights from the apartment building on the other side of the street. It turned out quite nice, didn’t it?

it did! …and makes me curious what the blue is in the bokeh… đ
Thanks. I’m curious too… đ I think it’s s painting in our living room reflected in the window..
Indeed!
Thank you đ
gorgeous! nice save đ
xx
Thanks, Kristina đ
Gorgeous.
Glad you didn’t throw it away. I rarely throw anything away. With today’s software you can make artistic things out of crappy things. For example, my most recent post, “Hope I die before I get old,” has a picture at the bottom of Zoey the Cool Cat. It was a throwaway picture because it was grossly out of focus. However, the way ZCC was curled out was just too cute. Corel PaintShop Pro X4 had some artistic functions that I took advantage of.
Thanks for your comments, likes and for visiting my blig. I will be sure to check out your blog soon. đ
I do like this bokeh theme you have going here. Nice round bokeh light spots here. What lens are you using, may I ask?
Thank you! đ For this shot I used the lens I use most of the time: the Sigma 17-70 mm f/2,8-4,5 with macro.
I really like the mix of colours and the smattering of spots!
Thank you so much, and thanks for visiting đ
Interesting! I thought a bunch of our flowers were beyond saving this year too, but it looks as though they are coming back, beautifully!
Love your pics!
