We´ve had the most fantastic weather this weekend. A long weekend that started with celebrating the Constitution Day and even had the day off today as it was the 2nd day of Pentecost. I went on long trips in the woods both Saturday and Sunday, and here are a few of the shots I took during my trips.

151/366 Looking into a flower
Trying to stick to my theme this week (looking in/out), but want to be a bit more creative than just looking in or out a window or a door. There are so many summer flowers popping up everywhere these days (even though the weather’s gone cold again) and buttercup is one of my favorites. I thought this one was lovely and I found that it could fit the theme with the glimpse of what to come inside the bud. Hope you like it.
150/366 Looking in to the 19th century
Another shot from the folk museum. Went there with a friend and the kids today because the kindergartens are closed because of the state and municipal strike going on. This is looking into a courtyard in “The old town” that is a part of the museum with only buildings from Trondheim. The buildings are from the 18th and 19th century.

The theme for this week is “looking in/out”, but today I have been occupied with the celebration of my son’s 3rd birthday. His birthday is on Wednesday, but since today is not a working day in Norway (2nd day of Pentecost/Whitsun), we celebrated today. From one of his friends in kindergarten, my son got tractors. Tractors are very popular with him so he was so happy. Here he and his friend has just finished unwrapping the gift. I’ve cropped out their heads as I didn’t want to publish photos of the friend on the internet without his parents’ consent. I still like this cropped version.
148/366 Ferguson TE20
I visited the folk museum nearby today with my sons (while my husband was at work – on a Sunday – sigh…). At the museum there is an old tractor – a Ferguson TE20 that my oldest son love to sit on and pretend he is taking it for a ride. This type of tractor is famous in Norway because of a children’s tv and book series called “Gråtass”, where the tractor is the main character.

146/366 The minimalistic side to the orchid
Running a bit out of options today. Was thinking about taking my camera outside, but being alone with both the kids (since the people working at the kindergarten are on strike), made the day busy (and nice). This is taken this evening. The tones were made by just changing the white balance to artificial light. Hardly any post-editing.
