88/366 Beautiful feather

My pillow is getting quite a beating these days since I’m breastfeeding in bed during the night. It is moved around a lot and because of that the feathers are starting to come out. I definitely need a new pillow, but at least I figured I could try and capture some of the feathers… :)

86/366 Seen from behind

The theme for week 13 is a combination of “Beautiful” and “Street Photography” as I couldn’t finish my street shot theme last week. This is the photo for Monday. I love orchids, and since purple is my favorite color I find the purple ones most beautiful. :)

84/366 The farm and the mountains

The weather wasn’t much better on Saturday, neither was the light. But at least I managed to capture some of the fantastic mountains surrounding the small village in the county ig  Møre & Romsdal where my husband grew up. This is from a farm at the outskirts of the village. I did some post-processing to make it a bit more interesting since the light was so bleak.

You can see more picture from this area from my photostream on Flickr:

83/366 A beautiful tree

I tried to photograph some of the beautiful and fantastic surroundings in the tiny village where my husband grew up, but the light was so difficult today – a day where all was quite grey. And this early in the spring there is too little colors elsewhere in nature to help. So I ended up with this wonderful tree today. And you can see a glimpse of some of the mountains in the background. Hope you like it. And I hope the weather will improve tomorrow. :)

82/366 Beautiful flower

We traveled to my in-laws today. Arriving a bit late, and much packing and unpacking to do with two sons around, so what I had time for today was taking some photos of some of my mother in law’s flowers. I really liked this orange one. Tomorrow I will try and get a picture of the surroundings. And oh, discovered that of course there were 4 more days left of the week, not just 3. So the switch with next week’s theme will be for 4 days. :)
