366/366 The end of a year and the end of a project

It´s the final day of 2012 and the final day of my 366 days project. I´m so happy I made it and I feel like I have learned a lot, even though motivation was lacking every now and then. I have also learned a lot and have become very inspired by all the fabulous photo blogs out there. I would like to congratulate all my fellow 366 project bloggers. Congratulations to all of you that made it through the year. Well done! I hope to see more photos from all of you in 2013. Personally I will definitely continue blogging, but I will not venture into another project like this. Sometimes I may even post photos that was not taken on that particular day. Happy New Year to all my followers and fellow bloggers. See you in 2013

365/366 Snow light

I’m not sure what this is called in English. We call it a snølykt, or snow light. It’s a lamp made of many snow balls and then put a lit candle inside. This one was made by my son and my husband earlier today.

364/366 A bluegrey morning

Yesterday we drove back home after spending a week with my mom. The morning brought milder and grey weather. In the morning light all looked the same colour tone.

362/366 Nature´s sculpture

After one day of mild and wet weather, the cold came back and created beautiful figures and sculptures all around. Add the beautiful December sun and I found lots of great motives. I hope you like this frozen drop.

361/366 Resting barracks in the snow

From one of my favorite places, Fetsund Lenser – Timber Floating Museum and Wetland Center. These resting barracks were used by workers at the time the timber floating plant was in use, now they are used for different exhibitions. In the winter time they are moved further down the river where the stream won´t damage them. We visited the museum and the wetland center for waffles and a walk in the snow yesterday. I love this place. It is beautiful in the summer in the sunshine, but I find it beautiful in all kinds of weather. The museum is situated where the River Glomma runs into the lake Øyeren. About 25 minutes drive northeast of Oslo.
