Just one day left of my 366 days project and I want to share with you my own personal favorites from the past year. One from each month. I hope you like them, and maybe agree. If you remember any other as your favorites, I would appreciate if you left a comment.
Lovely weather for the first time in ages and I was able to bring my camera when we walked downtown to visit friends. I took quite a few shots while standing at a big intersection, just photographing people. I liked this one the best of today’s photos.
The best I could do on Friday was a candid from my hip while queuing at the supermarket….
There is small shopping center close to home and I went there today trying to do some street shots. I only brought my phone as it isn’t as easy to do candid shots with a big camera in a small place. I noticed this old lady in the corner after several attempts and I liked the way it turned out. Hope you like it too.
My pillow is getting quite a beating these days since I’m breastfeeding in bed during the night. It is moved around a lot and because of that the feathers are starting to come out. I definitely need a new pillow, but at least I figured I could try and capture some of the feathers…
Still bad weather in Trondheim, as opposed to further south in Norway where they are experiencing around 20 degrees at the moment. We have to settle for rain and 5 degrees… I had lunch downton today and of course brought my camera to capture some street shots. I liked the pattern on this woman’s raincoat,
The theme for week 13 is a combination of “Beautiful” and “Street Photography” as I couldn’t finish my street shot theme last week. This is the photo for Monday. I love orchids, and since purple is my favorite color I find the purple ones most beautiful.
Details of a beautiful necklace my son made to me in kindergarten before Christmas. I think he did so well, and I was proud and happy when they told me he did it all by himself.
The weather wasn’t much better on Saturday, neither was the light. But at least I managed to capture some of the fantastic mountains surrounding the small village in the county ig Møre & Romsdal where my husband grew up. This is from a farm at the outskirts of the village. I did some post-processing to make it a bit more interesting since the light was so bleak.
You can see more picture from this area from my photostream on Flickr:
I tried to photograph some of the beautiful and fantastic surroundings in the tiny village where my husband grew up, but the light was so difficult today – a day where all was quite grey. And this early in the spring there is too little colors elsewhere in nature to help. So I ended up with this wonderful tree today. And you can see a glimpse of some of the mountains in the background. Hope you like it. And I hope the weather will improve tomorrow.
