Thanks! I’m glad you like it. I used the Sigma 17-70 mm for this one (after using my 50 mm for a few days). I placed the crayons on my laptop (the one that currently is out of work) because it’s so shiny
Hi Inga, I really love this shot! the only thing that bothers me is the little brown spot on the right… don’t know what it is, but that spot I would have removed… hope you don’t mind me saying
Besides that it is awesome… the colors really are fantastic,,, superb focus on the points
Thanks so much, Joanna! And no, I don’t mind you saying. I actually didn’t notice it before you said so. I do think it’s the brand of the laptop that I placed the crayons on. I tried to put them so that they covered it, but looks like I missed a spot.
no problem I noticed it just because there are such clean lines in this photo and that little spot distracted the clean composition… at least in my opinion
Thanks, Bernard! And thanks for seeing the things that I don’t. I think I must get me a better editing tool too and also learn more. Right now I’m using my work computer since my own lap top is not working. And work is very restrictive when it comes to downloading and installing new programs.
How do you come up with ideas like this? I would not have thought of this in a hundred years, so simple yet so complex with lovely lines and colors. This is brilliant and I can only learn, thank you.
Yes, the colours are perfect and cheerful! Which lens did you use and what did you place these on for the black background?

Simple and yet very impressive. I love this.
Thanks, Kate! That means a lot
Nice one! Just a small detail, the reflection of the lamp? right on the middle of the green pencil but is easy to remove afterwards.
